Privacy Policy

Below are the privacy issues and how you are protected when you browse, comment and send a project proposal to us:

a. IP address and your location-> this can be traced in our analytics and PHP script examples (such as the Paypal IPN demo page). However I will not expose your individual identity through IP address and there are no means I can associate your name, address and other personal information by just looking at this information. I can only know you if you are willing to contact us using the “hire me” contact form. The “hire me” contact form does not even gather your IP address when you send any project proposal.

b. Your name, email address and other details when you submit comments and inquiry (through my “Hire me” contact form) –> You can submit your name and email address when you submit a comments. However, this is optional when you are submitting comments. But I will require your contact information (Full name, website URL and email address) when you submit via “hire me” contact form. This will enable us to reply about your inquiry and get to know about your project better. Bear in mind that php-developer.org will not share or disclose your contact name and email address to anyone. All information sent using the “hire me” contact form are treated with utmost confidentiality. It will never be disclosed or even shared with third parties.

c. Commenting policy – when you submit any comments either using the post comment function or email. I will not allow any websites leading to commercially non-related content. I will only approve comments provided it is substantial in nature and exposing your true username (not necessarily real name). I will remove any comments if the sole purpose is to spam by using keywords instead of username.

d. Confidentially of clients – you might notice you will not read any testimonials in this website nor any information relating to my clients. I treat clients with confidentiality and I will not expose them by stating what kind of projects I made for their website or any information relating to their website. The primary reason is security by obscurity. Since I work also as a freelance writer in programming, SEO and web development. In my writings, I primarily exposed all my tactics and strategies in getting things done. Not all developers are perfect anyway (even big OS like Linux and Windows needs to periodically update their software) so if a malicious user finds an exploit in my work, they can use it to attack my client websites as well as other partners I used to work with.

Because of this, I will not divulge any information pertaining to my clients in this website. If you want to assess how I work with or how I will get the project done in case you decide to hire me for your projects. I recommend to read my writings, think about it and assess whether I am the right person for the job. If you believe in my skills and does not have time to execute it, you can sincerely hire me to work in your projects.

e. Confidentially of myself – you will only know me as Codex M or Codex Meridian, which is my pseudonym. The primary reason is also security and confidentially with my other work. In real life, I do a lot of things not only on computer programming, web development and SEO but non-IT related matters as well which I am using my real name. Because of these reasons, I would not like to conflict my identity as a developer and SEO with my other non-IT related interests.

Most writers/authors work with pseudonym and I am one of them. Thank you for understanding my situation.
